Twitter API – data visualization
Sushi is about as good as sliced bread. Who doesn’t enjoy sushi? Better yet, who doesn’t like to tweet to their tweeps about which sushi is the best, or you can be lame and simply take a photo of it.
I thought it would be interesting to find where the majority of sushi lovers are in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area. And decided to write a small Python application that snagged all the tweet’s about sushi, than stalked the user and found their location and drew where they were on the map.

The results were not so surprising, finding that the majority of sushi lovers well live in the largest city in the state. So all in all the application worked, and drew about three thousand circles around the Minneapolis area, and one random circle in Delano (where the heck is that?)
